Beyond The Yellow Ribbon
The Beyond the Yellow Ribbon of Chaska is dedicated to assisting our community service members, their families, and veterans who have served our country to give freedom to others. We do this through community partnerships like the Rotary and Lions Clubs; working with the local faith-based community, interdenominational community organizations, and local food shelves; and finally working with city, county, and state administrators to coordinate services for service members and veterans. What is a Yellow Ribbon Community?
A Yellow Ribbon Community unites all areas within a community to create a comprehensive network that connects and coordinates agencies, organizations, resources, and employers for the purpose of proactively supporting service members and military families.
Why we Became a Yellow Ribbon Community?
Since 9/11 thousands of Minnesotans have served our country. By joining the Yellow Ribbon Network, we work with local communities united in honoring and embracing those affected by military deployments. The hard work and dedication we provide enables a successful transition all the way home. Our community’s effort transcends the military to build a stronger and more compassionate community in Carver County.
